At first I was a little unsure about what a Thematic Unit actually was, but I think I have a little better understanding of what it is now. However, I still am a little unsure about it. Is this Thematic Unit assignment about making a connection between our curriculum in our content with reading and writing skills? Are we trying to incorporate general reading and writing skills through our content areas, or to enhance them within our content areas? I may be way off on this, but would like to get this cleared up a little.

I would like to hear how you discern between, "making a connection between our curriculum in our content with reading and writing skills? and incorporating general reading and writing skills through content areas" Let's bring this one to the classroom
